WREN supported the coordination of a series of events for the Belize Recyclers and Waste Management Association. This included a Zero Waste Launch Event to introduce the Association to the general public and celebrate its inauguration as the Caribbean’s first recyclers and waste management association, as well as its first Annual General Meeting and networking session. The AGM brought together a diverse cross-section of stakeholders from across the waste management supply chain, including distributors, NGOs, recyclers, and material aggregators to connect, share perspectives, and lay the groundwork for a more coordinated approach to waste management in Belize.
