Assessment of the Scope, Scale, and Impacts of Marine Pollution on Key Blue Economy Sectors in Pacific Island Countries

As part of an international collaborative team, WREN’s Director, Dr. Amardeep Wander, has been serving as the Solid Waste Management Expert for the “Assessment of the Scope, Scale, and Impacts of Marine Pollution from Key Blue Economy Sectors in 12 PICs.” Focused on tourism, fisheries, and maritime transport, the project provides sector reports and country case studies, offering recommendations for future actions to reduce the impact of marine pollution in the Pacific. Outputs from the project will support policy dialogue and investment planning with PIC governments and stakeholders, providing detailed expertise on waste management data and operational issues.
