Dr. Amardeep Wander authored a detailed waste audit methodology designed for the unique data collection conditions of Small Island Developing States. The methodology covers household kerbside waste, commercial premises, landfills, waste collection systems, infrastructure, legislation and policy frameworks, and available financial mechanisms. By providing a consistent standard, it enables performance comparisons across countries and supports the assessment of program and project impacts over time. The methodology has since been applied in more than 15 Small Island Developing States across the Pacific and Caribbean.
